I provide driving instruction to individuals in the Thirsk, Northallerton area and surrounding villages. First starting with the AA and then choosing to drive Mini Coopers and become self-employed. Every 2-4 years driving instructors are subject to a check test. The test makes sure that you are keeping up the proper standards of instruction. I have consistently scored the highest grade 6.
This is the highest grade awarded to Approved Driving Instructors. Just 6% of driving instructors achieve it. My recent certificate can be seen on request. It is for this reason that if you choose to take lessons with me you are sure of the highest level of instruction, an excellent reputation and the best chance you will have in passing your test.
Pupil references are available upon request where I have sought consent to share personal information with any person making enquiries about my reputation. Please contact me for more information.

Getting your Provisional Driving Licence is the first step towards your full driving licence.
Once you have received your provisional licence, you can start taking lessons but you also need to think about taking the theory test.
The theory test is is made up of two sections : a multiple choice and a hazard perception.
Both of these need to be passed in order for you to get your theory test pass certificate.
Once passed, you are then able to apply for a practical driving test but you obviously need to be able to drive well enough too!

On my first driving lesson I remembered Jamie to be a very supportive and calm teacher.
He was very patient with me, especially when I stalled or did something wrong.
His car is great to learn in and Jamie is very thorough with all the country roads and possible places and manoeuvres that your test might include.
You really are getting a great deal as he does everything and anything that would be on your test.
I'm glad I chose Jamie as a driving instructor.
As a mature learner driver Jamie was patient and calm when dealing with both my nerves and my attitude.
