Don't just take my word for it, here a just a few of the scores of people who have taken driving lessons with me.and loved it.
From my first lesson to passing my practical exam at the first attempt, learning to drive with Janet has been a fantastic experience.
Janet is a friendly, dedicated and knowledgeable instructor who is able to prepare you safely and confidently for your practical driving test.
Assessing your strengths and weaknesses, Janet is able to tailor lessons to what you feel like you need to learn.
Being a good driver is more than just being able to handle a car, you need to know about road signs, how to anticipate danger and have a knowledge of road etiquette.
A knowledge of hazard perception has proved a contributor in reducing accidents with new drivers by specifically making new drivers more aware of road hazards when they occur and any action that may need to be taken.
For both of the above there is a short practice session before each test to give you a chance to get used to the touch screen for the multiple choice questions and to get used to the clicking of the mouse for spotting and marking when the hazards arise.
The examiner will send off your provisional drivers licence to the DVLA and you will be given a pass certificate, within 2-3 weeks you will receive your full driving licence again made up in two parts, a photocard and paper counterpart which will include any endorsements and entitlement history.
The licence will also show you what vehicles you are authorised to drive, check it over carefully to ensure that it is correct.
After all that hard work it is still important to remember the rules of the highway code and note that if you rack up six points in the first two years of passing your practical driving test you will lose your licence and be required to take all driving tests again.
