An automatic car has no clutch and the car changes gear for you leaving you to concentrate on steering and only two pedals, the accelerator and the foot brake.
Both of these pedals are operated by your right foot only and your left foot is not used at all.
You have much more time to concentrate on the road and surroundings without worrying about getting the car into the correct gear and controlling the clutch.
