Sue Cooke
When I first started to learn to drive I was extremely nervous and anxious about it all, but after only a few lessons with Sue I was starting to feel more comfortable with everything. After failing my test in the past and then going off to uni I decided to do an intensive course with Sue. I felt that this would be the best option to take for me. Got Recommended Sue Cooke after not having much luck with a previous instructor, very relaxed and enjoyable lessons.

I cannot praise Sue enough. For someone who was very anxious to start driving Sue soon made me feel at ease and was a very patient teacher. I think at first I may have presented Sue with a slight challenge. My only driving experience before coming to live in England was riding a motorbike on the Indonesian. Throughout my time with Sue, she provided calm and patient tuition to help me become a safe driver and prepare me for passing my test both technically and mentally.

Sue is very patient and understanding and reliable. I never thought I could ever drive as I was so nervous but she had me driving within minutes.

Included in the test is driver's attitude, traffic signs and regulations, effects of alcohol, drugs and fatigue on driver's behaviour and the safety and environmental aspects of vehicles.
Learning to drive is equally about knowing how to be safe on the roads as it is about handling the car.
Therefore much of the Theory Test concentrates on 'reading the road' so that learners understand how to avoid accidents.
Intensive courses are flexible and fast track the learner to the standard required for the practical driving test.
The DVSA recommend at least 40 hours practical driving tuition to give the learner enough driving experience, confidence and road safety knowledge for the best chance of passing their practical driving test.
The practical test does not necessarily have to be booked for the same week.
By delaying it for a week or two you will find the pressure is taken off, you'll enjoy the driving course and have a better chance of retaining the knowledge.
