Smartdrive has been established in Telford since 2005 and offers a friendly, professional driver training service to help you through the theory and practical driving tests. We offer post-test training in the form of Pass-Plus, Motorway and Advanced Driving courses. Before you can take the practical driving test you must pass both parts of the sixty minute theory test at the same sitting.
The nearest local test centres are in Shrewsbury and Wolverhampton.
The first part of the test is a series of forty-five multiple choice questions, followed by a brief description of a driving situation (a case study) about which a further five multiple choice questions will be asked.
There are many web sites offering free practice tests, and there are lots of books, DVD's and CD-ROM packs available to help you get ready for this part of the test.

This will involve driving independently around an actual test route with your instructor giving you directions.

All you will pay is the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) fee, currently 62.00.
