Lessons are planned and paced to suit each individual student, so matching your abilities and goals. I try to keep you driving and practising as much as possible, however I will also demonstrate and use pictures and diagrams whenever needed to aid your learning. Your progress is reviewed at the end of each lesson and recorded on the "Drivers Record" as recommended by the DVSA.

During the independent driving part of the test, most candidates will be asked to follow directions from a sat nav.
You can't follow directions from your own sat nav during the test - you have to use the one supplied by the examiner.
You'll be able to ask the examiner for confirmation of where you're going if you're not sure.
It won't matter if you go the wrong way unless you make a fault while doing it.
The 'reverse around a corner' and 'turn-in-the-road' manoeuvres will no longer be tested, but you should still be taught them by your instructor.

How can I find a good instructor?
Everyone is differentit's best for you to learn at your own pace, your age, any previous on road driving experience, such as pedal cycle and moped, and access to a car you can practice in, will all affect how quickly you will be ready to successfully take the driving test.
