Jane Burnhill Driving School provides an enriched learning environment that has helped countless driving students get ahead. We've been teaching as a Driving Standards Approved Instructor since 2004, the school is located in Bodmin. All contact methods will be answered by the end of the day, unfortunately we are teaching in the daytime and are unable to answer straight away.
Thank you for your patience. Whether you are a beginner or have some previous experience of driving, our lessons are aimed to improve your ability to drive at the end of each day. The length of lessons depends on your location. Hourly lessons are only available if you live in Bodmin. This is included in all our courses.
However if you have been driving with a parent/guardian and want to ensure that you pass your test, then this 6 hour course which includes a mock test, will give you the tools and confidence you need to safely pass your test.

The course covers the whole curriculum for passing your driving test.
The attraction of an intensive course is not only a great result at the end of the week, but your ability to flow straight into the test, rather than wait a week from your last lesson and then jump straight into a car and under pressure try to remember everything you did the week before.

Our view on parents assisting with lessons, is one of great admiration as you don't always have complete control over what they do.
But they do excel in confidence.

Examiners may cancel your test if this is not provided.
2. When carrying out manoeuvres, don't forget your teenager needs to check around the car regularly for the possibility of other traffic or pedestrians.

1. Tell me - How you would check the tyres to ensure that they have sufficient tread depth and that their condition is safe to use on the road.
Answer - 1.6mm lowest tread legal in the uk.
Check this across the central three quarters of the breadth of the tyre.
Check wall of tyre for cuts and bulges.
3. Show me - Where you would find the engine oil level and tell me how you would check that you have sufficient oil.
