We have been established since 1985 and are the longest practicing independent driving school in the Halton area. Our experience of teaching students to drive combined with dual controlled vehicles provides you with a safe, relaxed atmosphere in which to learn.

Our driving instructors were soon providing driving lessons in Runcorn and all the surrounding areas.
I became a driving instructor (ADI) in 1984, after passing my test on a motorbike, in a car, and in a double decker bus!
I enjoyed driving so much that I wanted to pass the whole experience on to other people and what better a way than to teach people to drive at my driving school in Widnes?
Over 30 years later, I am a grade 6 instructor (top grade) and we have a team of 4 at The Farm School of Motoring.

The theory test starts with a series of 50 multiple choice questions and is followed by a three minute break before the hazard perception element starts.
Your hazard perception test will consist of 14 video clips which will feature various road scenes with developing hazards involving both vehicles and pedestrians.

You will be asked two questions, one 'show me' and one 'tell me' question.
