Camberley Driving School was established in 2007, and is currently run solely by one proprietor, Michael Walter.
Mike has many years of experience in the driving industry, much of it acquired during his years as a transport & distribution manager, and he transferred some of that experience to the operation of his first driving school, 'Michae L Walter Driver Training'.
Having achieved success in this initial venture, he decided that to grow the business, it would be better to create a local area school that would be built upon recommendation, and become the most reputable driver training organisation in the area.
Mike has many years of experience in the driving industry, much of it acquired during his years as a transport & distribution manager, and he transferred some of that experience to the operation of his first driving school, 'Michae L Walter Driver Training'.

The driver training tuition vehicles are replaced approximately every 2 to 3 years, in order that teaching always take place in a modern and reliable car.
Our main teaching vehicle is currently a manual 5-door VW Polo hatchback, and we have also previously used Renault Clios and Vauxhall Corsas(see below), all cars being amongst the most popular overall for learner training purposes in the last couple of decades, utilised by many driving schools, such as BSM, for example.
As you would expect, all our vehicles include the usual requirements of a safe & comfortable drive, including an adjustable steering column, air-conditioning, plus driver/front passenger airbags and fitted dual controls for increased driving security.

Your training to attain a full British driving licence follows a relatively comprehensive curriculum of subjects, but, unless driving conditions change dramatically and very quickly, does not include driving in all weathers, on motorways, or at night.

I am a fully qualified highest grade ADI (Grade 6 Approved Driving Instructor - replaced by Grade A) and therefore licensed by the DVSA (Driver & Vehicle Standards Agency).
I emphasise this for the following reason: - The qualification process for the licence involves a rigorous 3 part testing procedure.
