Services
The car that you will be driving under my tuition is a modern Vauxhall Corsa with automatic transmission, the car is also fitted with He-Man dual control system for extra safety.
The car is an easy to drive small hatchback that offers great visibility for driving and parking and makes an ideal vehicle when learning to drive.
I always had a bit of trouble with clutch control, so I decided to start automatic lessons with Sharon.
Instantly she put me at ease and was very patient and friendly.
She's an excellent teacher that made it feel easy to learn to drive.
She'll go over any of your weaknesses and help you to improve at your own pace.
If you are thinking about opting for automatic lessons then I highly recommend Sharon.
You won't be disappointed!
I'm a single mum of 3 children and it's been my dream to learn how to drive since I was 17 but I've never been brave enough until 2 years ago.
Learning to drive in a manual car is not for everyone - for many people, automatic driving lessons are a better option.
Maybe you have had a driving lesson in a manual car before and found it too difficult, or maybe you have a disability that stands in the way of you changing gears.
If you recognise yourself in one of these scenarios, taking an automatic test could be a better choice.
As there is no clutch pedal, an automatic car may be easier to drive - especially on more congested city roads - and if you are having difficulties managing the gears in a manual car, you may find that taking automatic driving lessons is a faster route to your licence.
Once you have passed your theory test the final step to obtaining your full driving licence is the practical test.
Once your driving skills have reached a suitable level and providing you have passed your theory test in the last 2 years, you can then look to get your practical test booked.
How far in advance this needs to be done will vary depending on the number of others applying at the same time but this will be discussed with you when appropriate.
The driving test lasts approximately 40 minutes.
Before you can take your practical driving test you will be required to take your theory test.
DVSA (Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency) are the authorised Government agency who conduct your theory test.
You must correctly answer 43 out of a possible 50 multiple choice questions within 57 minutes.
During the session you have the option to skip questions and return to them later.
Part 2 - Hazard Perception - You will watch a series of 14 one-minute clips, each showing potential hazards involving road conditions, pedestrians or road users.
