Guildford Driving Instructor

GDI aka Darren is one of the most professional driving instructors I have learned with, A wealth of patience and knowledge. He explains the theory and driving only someone of his caliber is able to! He helped me so much and I passed my test with flying colours first time. Darren is much friendlier, exactly what you need when you're driving. Someone that gives you confidence and explains everything calmly.

I would give GDI 5 stars I have ADHD so things can trigger me, Darren specialises in teaching those with learning difficulties so it was a perfect fit. A comprehensive course at a reasonable price as well. Do yourself a favour and take a look for yourself he will not disappoint you.

Everything you'd ask for in a driving instructor, whenever I was low in confidence Darren would always find a way to bring it back up, I wouldn't have been able to pass first time if it wasn't for him. I can't recommend him enough.

Darren has been absolutely superb through some Complex times with Covid. My daughter's exam was cancelled at least twice due to lockdown and Darren was supportive and offered practical advice as restrictions lifted. My daughter enjoyed lessons with Darren and learnt quickly and with confidence. I would have no hesitation highly recommending Darren if your son and daughter is learning to drive.

I contacted Darren to get some refresher lessons having passed my test five years ago. He was fantastic and gave me the confidence to drive solo after just two lessons. Great communication and tips throughout, would definitely recommend to any driver, new or not.

Darren is AMAZING! He made me feel confident in the drivers seat right from the first lesson, and not once did I feel unsafe or panicked. He helped me pass first time in just 3 months, and was amazing at keeping me calm and making sure I was ready during the build up of my test. Thank you Darren!

Really great instructor all the way through. Made everything simple and easy to understand, which made the learning experience fast and fun. Was supportive all the way through and gave constructive feedback as to how to improve and what to work on. Every lesson felt as if I was progressing and growing more confident in my abilities and handling of the car.

I had learned previously with a different driving instructor and got into some bad habits. As soon as Darren started teaching me, those habits went away and i became a way better driver. He teaches in a calm and supportive manner which made my overall experience smooth and worry free. I had my driving test 3 days ago and i passed first time all thanks to Darren's teaching methods. Can't fault him.

Darren is a good driving instructor, he has a calm attitude when teaching. Whenever I've made a mistake, he would not be harsh but instead he would tell me to calm down and do it the right way. Like many other young drivers, I failed my first test but that was due to my nerves but Darren still believed in my driving, which made me believe in myself.

After rebuilding my confidence, I went and passed my test second time. Throughout this journey of learning how to drive with Darren, he built my confidence and taught me to become a safe driver. He is very helpful and gives great advice when it comes to driving in the future.
